The reporting problem
Advertising exports can contain useful numbers without being ready for a client conversation. Different column names, reporting periods and metric definitions make it easy to compare unlike data. Client Report Studio was built to make those choices visible before a report is presented.
The product approach
The application works with imported Google and Meta CSV exports. It asks for explicit data mapping, validates inputs and retains source context. It supports comparable-period calculations, multiple client projects and a printable report. The application bundle includes the files needed for offline use; the public sample uses fictional data so a visitor can inspect the format without exposing a client account.
A deliberate review boundary
The report author remains responsible for choosing comparable periods and interpreting the result. A calculated change is only meaningful when the underlying definitions match. For a similar reporting tool, we would keep missing fields and unsupported comparisons visible instead of filling gaps with plausible numbers. Presentation quality should make evidence easier to inspect.
What was tested and what was not
The original release record reports 118 product, payment, source and packaging checks, plus 29 existing enquiry/security checks. Payment and email tests used fixtures. The landing page and public configuration were checked live. Those checks do not establish a real paid purchase, customer adoption or the final appearance of every printed report.
Current commercial boundary
The recorded public release kept sales closed pending payment and delivery activation. This case study describes the implemented reporting product, not a verified revenue-generating launch. For a comparable brief, start with anonymised exports, the client questions the report must answer and an agreed definition for every comparison before designing a larger dashboard.
