We layered on an adaptive difficulty system that keeps users in their optimal challenge zone — hard enough to learn, easy enough to stay motivated. The social layer includes real-time multiplayer matches, daily tournaments with leaderboards, and a streak system that drives retention. We also built a "Learning Mode" where incorrect answers trigger short AI-generated explanations, turning every mistake into a micro-learning moment. The backend scales dynamically to handle usage spikes during daily tournament windows without any degradation in question generation speed.
